Mario Sunshine
Story:9/10: the story is nearly flawless,
as the main villian's identity is a secret, and Mario is
put
in Jail for a crime he didn't commit, and has to clean up
all the gloop the Mario imposter made using ,to spray the
goop away, FLUDD, his water pump with while proving he was
framed.
Controls:
8/10: The controls are mainly good, but having to press R
lightly to use fludd while while running or pressing L instead
of R in the air to ground pound can be annoying.
Graphics:9/10:
very impressive for a gamecube game, especally the
water.
Sound:8/10:
The sounds are quite bouncy, and allways go with
the theme for the current area. Difficulty:
8/10: The difficulty is very challenging, but a bit too challenging,
as you can sometimes get annoyed with the game
Originality:9/10:
Using FLUDD to dash, squirt, hover, or even fly is very
original,
but quite a lot of Ideas are taken from Super Mario 64. It's
also good that you can ride Yoshi in a 3D game.
Replayability:9/10:
You can do nearly anything again once you've finished the game,
even most bosses.
Secrets
and unlockables:7.5/10: there are a few secrets, but they're
quite hard to find, and not that good. There's a fair ammount
of unlockables, though.
Glitches:
9/10: There are very few glitches, but they may force you
to turn the gamecube off or make you lose a life.
Overall:
8.5/10: This game has some very good Ideas, great
replayability and a very good story, but it can be a bit to
hard at times.
